Road to Success: Career Development Program was created by a coalition of business and education professionals who have many years of experience working in the areas of employment readiness and business skill development. The program developers have worked with thousands of participants and emploers to help them achieve thei goals for success.
With over 30 years of professional experience, Ellen Yerman has held leadership positions in
government, corporate America, and in nonprofit education. Before starting EMY & associates, Ms. Yerman was Executive Director of Villa Julie College’s Career Center where she developed the first full-time career center. In Ms. Yerman’s 17 years in Baltimore County government, she co-founded the Department of Aging, developed and was Director of the Office of Family Resources, and served as Special Assistant to the Chief of Police. Ms. Yerman was also Director of Human Resources for a large national company. Ms. Yerman has been honored as one of Maryland’s Top 100 Women and is the editor of the publication Corridor Careers.
Prior to establishing The International School of Protocol, Carol Haislip worked for nearly 20 years as a business executive, serving as a vice president for a major corporation. During that time, she managed and developed training programs for hundreds of corporate executives and employees on a wide variety of topics. In addition, she has appeared on radio and television talk shows. She holds a Masters of Business Administration with a concentration in International Business.
Cathleen Hanson has provided training for business executives, corporations, politicians, groups
and schools, and has appeared on radio and television talk shows. Currently, she is co-director of The International School of Protocol. She served as a university professor of communication, teaching courses in the area of public speaking, group communication, business communication, and nonverbal communication. She is an award winning writer whose syndicated columns appear in over 30 publications nationwide. Ms. Hanson holds a Masters in Communication Theory and Research.
With a Master’s Degree in Human Resources Development, Eileen O’Donnell Vozzella had more than 15 years experience in training and development prior to the founding of The Road to Success: Career Development Program. Eileen has held leadership positions in both for profit and nonprofit settings, including managed health care, high technology manufacturing, long-term care and higher education. In 2007, Ms. Vozzella brought her experiences in program development and enhancement to EMY & associates and the Student Career Development Institute.
